Sardinian Basalt

An effusive rock originating from volcanic magma solidified quickly on coming into contact with air. Diffused in much of Sardinia, it characterises with its presence ancient times; colossal pieces; and historical architecture. Sardinian basalt is a material containing a profound energy; with excellent technical characteristics that render it compact and able to stand the passing of time. It is very workable, and its chromatic differences, ranging from gray to dark red, render it suitable for interesting architectural combinations. The company uses the activity of extraction of large masses, by operating in three ways: extracting Natural Basalt, respecting the environment, and reclaiming the land.
