Light Marble from Orosei

Metamorphic Rock, produced as the result of a lengthy process of re-crystallisation of calcium carbonate, of which it is mostly made up. A fine material, since the first years of processing, has been of interest to the international market for its outstanding physic-mechanic properties, resistance to wear and tear, and for its different shades ranging from dark veined to light. Marble from Orosei is used by ‘Perdas’ for interesting structural and chromatic combinations, alongside Sardinian Basalt.
